Effective Email Campaign Design
From 2020 to 2024, I ran the email marketing channel for a DTC ecommerce brand.
During this period, we grew our annual revenue from $500k to $4M, and email (including campaigns and flows) consistently accounted for ~35% of that revenue.
I designed all of our campaigns and flows according to Klaviyo’s best practices, collaborating with a copywriter and using photos taken by a professional photographer.
I share this to give other brands of a similar scale a peek into a voice/aesthetic strategy that worked wonders for this particular brand. By maintaining a consistently fun and informative brand personality, our emails resulted in steady engagement and, as a result, steady revenue that kept pace with the brand’s overall growth.
